About Leo's Children's Nursery
Nurturing curious minds since day one
Leo's Children's Nursery was founded with a simple but powerful mission: to create a place where every child feels safe, confident, curious and truly ready to learn. From our first family to our hundredth, that mission has never changed.
We are a locally owned and operated nursery serving families across Nottingham, with settings in Arnold and West Bridgford. Our team of passionate, qualified practitioners brings years of experience and genuine love for early childhood education to every single day.
At Leo's, we understand that childcare is about so much more than supervision. It is about building relationships, supporting development, and creating memories that children and families will treasure for years to come. We are proud to be a second home for so many Nottingham families.

Our childcare approach
We believe children learn best when they feel happy, secure and inspired. Our approach blends structured learning with child-led exploration to support every area of development.
Play-Based Learning
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage through play, sparking curiosity, creativity and confidence while developing essential cognitive, physical and social skills.
Consistent Routines
Predictable daily rhythms help children feel secure and regulated. We balance structure with flexibility, adapting to each child's individual needs and energy levels.
Creative Expression
From painting and music to imaginative role-play, we provide rich creative opportunities that allow children to express themselves and develop their unique talents.
Outdoor Exploration
Daily outdoor play, nature walks and garden activities build physical strength, resilience, and a deep appreciation for the natural world around them.
Every child deserves a champion
At Leo's Children's Nursery, every child is assigned a dedicated Key Person. This practitioner takes primary responsibility for your child's care, development, and emotional wellbeing, forming a close, trusting bond that becomes the foundation for their entire nursery experience.
Your Key Person is there to support your child's settling in, understand their unique personality and needs, and keep you fully informed about their progress and daily experiences. They are your main point of contact and your partner in your child's early years journey.
- Supports settling in with personalised care
- Plans individual next steps for development
- Provides regular updates and parent consultations
- Builds a deep understanding of your child's personality
- Creates a secure attachment for emotional wellbeing
